Spark plugs are an integral part of the ignition system in an internal combustion engine. They are responsible for generating the spark that ignites the fuel-air mixture in the cylinder. These are small components with insulated electrode tips that intersect to create a spark gap. The spark, generated when high voltage passes through this gap, ignites the fuel and initiates the engine's operation.

Glow plugs are used in diesel engines where the fuel is ignited by increasing the temperature of the air inside the cylinder. These plugs generate high temperatures to assist in igniting the fuel under high compression. With special materials and construction, glow plugs can operate at high temperatures for an extended period.

Ignition locks are used to protect the vehicle from unauthorized access. They ensure the security of the vehicle by allowing only authorized individuals to operate it. Ignition locks have a unique key or electronic code that needs to be entered to start the engine.

Start/stop buttons are convenient and modern control elements in a car. They allow drivers to conveniently start and stop the car's engine with a single button press. This feature replaces the traditional ignition key, providing a more modern and ergonomic way of control.

Ignition rotor arms are used in distributor ignition systems. They connect the distributor to the spark plugs, transmitting the spark from the distributor to the corresponding engine cylinder. Ignition rotor arms ensure the proper sequence of spark influence on the cylinders, ensuring optimal engine operation.

High-tension wires are used to transfer the spark from the ignition coils to the spark plugs. They have high insulation to prevent electrical current leakage and withstand the high voltages that occur in the ignition system.

Ignition coils convert the low voltage of the vehicle's electrical system into the high voltage required to generate a spark in the spark plugs. They are responsible for supplying a powerful spark that initiates the combustion of the fuel mixture in the engine cylinders.

Ignition switches ensure the correct sequence of ignition coil activation and deactivation. They allow for switching the coils to the appropriate cylinders, providing precise timing control of the ignition system.

The distributor cap and rotor are responsible for transmitting the spark signal from the distributor to the spark plugs. They consist of contacts that open and close as the distributor rotates, creating a spark at the right moment.

Ignition coil boots are used to ensure a reliable connection between the ignition coils and the high-tension wires. They provide electrical contact and prevent current leakage, ensuring efficient spark transmission.

Ignition leads carry the spark from the ignition coils to the spark plugs. They have high electrical insulation and withstand high voltages, ensuring reliable electrical current transmission.

Breaker points are used in early automotive ignition systems. They create an intermittent spark by interrupting the electrical contact in the ignition distributor. This allows for the correct ignition timing in different engine cylinders.

Starter bendixes are responsible for transferring motion from the starter to the engine's crankshaft during vehicle startup. They are used to deliver a quick and strong thrust necessary to rotate the engine during startup.

It's interesting to note that each of these components plays a crucial role in the ignition system and electrical system of a car, ensuring optimal engine performance and reliable starting. They help facilitate efficient combustion of the fuel mixture and ensure the smooth operation of the vehicle's system.
